Seems like campaigning for political parties is the newest theme of this wedding season. And a couple from Karnatka are going viral for following the trend, as they dedicated their wedding invitation to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Nagraj and Rekha, who hail from Devangere in Karnataka, designed their wedding invitation with a photo of Narendra Modi and a caption saying, "Our gift is your vote for Modi in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections."
Apart from that, the invitation also carried the symbol of Modi's Swachh Bharat campaign which says, "A step closer to Swachh Bharat." Apart from that, the couple also intends to have a zero waste wedding.
The card was sent to the couple's relatives by the groom's brother Shivkumar, who told News18, that he believes "Modi deserves to be PM again."
The couple is set to tie the knot on February 8, 2019.
Before this, a couple had dedicated their wedding invitation to justify the NDA government's decision to buy Rafale fighter jets. In fact, PM Modi had also praised the couple for their efforts and had sent them an appreciation letter.
In the letter, the PM had written, "Heartiest Congratulations to Pokharna family on the joyous occasion of the marriage of Yuvraj and Sakshi. I noticed a unique feature of the marriage invitation card sent to the guests," read the letter signed and sent by Modi."
