Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday referred to himself as a 'chowkidar' again and said that it was because of a strong chowkidar at the Centre that Congress party was disturbed.
PM Modi was speaking at a rally in Raigarh, Chhattisgarh.
PM Modi said, "Today, the agencies are bringing Congress's secret keepers from abroad. They are abusing PM Modi because of that."
The prime minister was referring to the AgustaWestland case fugitives including Deepak Talwar and Christian Michel being extradited to India.
The prime minister also said that the Congress party did not have any philosophy.
"Yesterday in the Parliament, I said that I have never taken a favour from anyone neither am I going to provide any favour to anybody," PM Modi said.
"That is why they [Congress] are disturbed," he said.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that when Congress formed a government in Chhattisgarh, he had hoped that they would do something for the development of the state but they didn't.
"When a new government was formed in Chhattisgarh, we also congratulated them in the hopes that maybe they will implement some new approach for the development of the state," PM Modi said.
"But, what they have only done [in Chhattisgarh] is try to stop the ongoing schemes," PM Modi said.
PM Modi said that the first decision that the Congress government took in Chhattisgarh was to remove Chhattisgarh from 'Modicare' and second decision was to not let the CBI enter the state.
"Why? What are you [Congress party] afraid of?" PM Modi asked in his speech.
PM Modi also raised doubts on Congress not letting CBI into the state and said, "If they had nothing to hide, why are they afraid of an investigation?"
