Fans were jolted when Arbaaz Khan and Malaika Arora announced their decision to end their 18-year-long marriage. The former couple, who have a 16-year-old son Arhaan together, have continued to remain great friends even after finding love again.
While Arbaaz is in a relationship with Giorgia Andriani, Malaika is going strong with Arjun Kapoor. However, before he made it official with Giorgia, he was linked with a number of women.
On his chat show, Arbaaz was responding to a comment by a troll that he had become a "khula saand" after getting a divorce from Malaika.
"Arre bhai, 21 years ka relationship khatam hua. Kuch hadd tak iski baaton mein sachchai hai isliye mujhe bura bhi nahi laga. Ek time aa gaya tha, after making my efforts at reconciliation or whatever...We both tried, didn't happen. After a time, I had to move on in life," he said.
Even though Arbaaz admitted that he was a "khula saand" to some extent, he said that the statement was not completely true. "I was, to some extent. There's some truth in that, not all," he said.
Recently, in an interview with a newspaper, Arbaaz revealed that he was in a steady relationship with Giorgia. "If I had to hide my affair, I would not have brought it in open. I unhesitatingly admit that Giorgia is there in my life at this point in time. Somebody who I have at his time in my life is a friend who I am also dating. Where it is going to go? Only time will tell. Yes, undoubtedly, we are together," he said.
Arbaaz also revealed that things have been looking up ever since Giorgia entered his life. "When you are living alone then you tend to take life casually. You can either change for the better or probably for the worst. You can get addicted to a bottle or you may think that there is nothing left in your life. Fortunately, I was not in that mindset and my partner encourages me to remain positive and go ahead in life," he said.
