MiG 27 aircraft on routine mission from Jodhpur crashes

A MiG 27 UPG aircraft on a routine mission from Jodhpur crashed in Sirohi on Sunday. The accident took place at around 11.45 am.
The MiG 27 UPG aircraft, which lifted from Uttarlai Air Force base, experienced engine problems leading to a crash at about 120 km South of Jodhpur.
The pilot managed to eject safely.
Preliminary reports indicate no loss of property or life on the ground. A court of inquiry will investigate the cause of the accident.
Earlier in February, an IAF helicopter crashed in Budgam district of Jammu and Kashmir Wednesday, killing both its pilots and four others onboard besides a local resident.
According to officials, the helicopter crashed in an open field near Garend Kalaan village in Budgam around 10.05 am.
Besides its pilots, four others onboard and a local resident died in the incident.
