Bollywood diva Anushka Sharma had a busy 2018. We first saw her in Pari, which released immediately after her and Virat Kohli’s nuptials, followed by Sui Dhaaga: Made In India and Zero, besides a cameo in Sanju. However, she has disappeared from the celluloid after Zero, sparking the speculations of her being pregnant. We haven't come across any report discussing her next film. In fact, for the past few months, she has just been accompanying hubby Virat Kohli on his cricket tours, giving rise to all the speculations. However, in her recent interview, she has negated all the reports.
"In the past three years, I have been working in a fashion which was very hectic, and have done roles which were extremely demanding. In one calendar year to do a film like Pari, Sui Dhaaga and Zero, it’s not easy and takes a toll on you. All are different and required a lot of prep. You feel you want to sit back and take a call,” she said adding that she has reached that point in her career where she doesn’t wish to take up films simply to fill up time.

“I think I have reached that position and security as an actor in my career, where I don’t need to do things or sign films just because I have to fill up time,” she said.
She further revealed that she has some ‘interesting’ production work lined up. "Being a producer, I anyway have my hands full, we are doing some interesting work. We have been producing shows for streaming platforms, a film too. Those are things that also require my time, and in my case, it’s very different. I am an actor at the same time. There are things that I do behind the scenes, which obviously people are not going to be privy to," she continued.
On May 1, Anushka turned 31 and husband Virat showered love on his lady by sharing an adorable video. It has the two sitting by the lakeside, engaged in some conversation.
